Muladhara, or the root chakra, is present at the base of your spine. It gives you a foundation for life and helps you feel centered and capable of overcoming problems. The root chakra is in charge of your sense of safety and stability.
Svadhisthana, or the sacral chakra, is present directly below your belly button. This chakra controls your sexual and creative energies. It is also tied to how you connect to your own and other people’s emotions.
The solar plexus chakra, also known as Manipura, is present in your stomach. It is in charge of your self-esteem and confidence, as well as making you feel in control of your own life.
The heart chakra, or Anahata, is present in the center of your chest, near your heart. It controls our ability to love and be compassionate.
Vishuddha, or throat chakra, is present in your throat. This chakra controls our ability to speak verbally.
Ajna, or the third eye chakra, is present between your eyes. It controls your strong gut instinct.
The crown chakra, also known as Sahasrara, is present on top of your head. Your Sahasrara is your spiritual link to yourself, others, and the world.
